The Design of the HVAC System is the most crucial and foremost step in the realisation of a HVAC system.It includes taking input from the customer on their requirements and their constraints on the type of system best suited for their needs.A primary survey is undertaken of the site in consideration so as to understand the technical know how.

The designer than carries on the following tasks

Calculation of the area and volume.
Calculating the Heat Load based on the location and structural aspects of the building.
Calculating the Air Changes per hour(ACPH).
Selection of the system based on the requirements.
Designing of the duct framework and the positions of the other components that include the Diffusers, Grills, Filters if any.
Generating a Design BOQ that contains the list and quantity of the components required.
Coordinating with the other teams to make sure that the requirements of the client are met while complying with the Industrial/ Pharmaceutical Standards.
The Design is then approved by the Client and the Execution Department,after taking into account the feasibility of the proposed system before moving to the next department.
